From November 1st - 17th, we will be collecting donations to help those in need in our community this holiday season.
You can drop off any donations before or after any church service or during office hours (Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm).

What is Project Toy Box? Project Toy Box is a toy outreach ministry hosted by Christ United Methodist Church, Yorkana. This ministry targets families experiencing financial difficulties during the Christmas season. Although presents are often associated with the commercialism of Christmas, our mission is to help families unwrap the love of Jesus Christ in the gifts received through this ministry during their time of need.
How does it work? Gently used toys, books, puzzles, games, DVD movies, craft items (excluding used crayons, markers) and bikes/ride-ons, are collected in early December. Communications regarding this event are provided to the Eastern York School District as well as select area agencies to distribute to families in need. After cleaning and sorting the items, a ‘toy store’ is set up and the doors are opened for parents and guardians to come and collect gifts for children in their care at no cost to them. Volunteers are available to assist guests in their shopping experience.

Accepted donations: Gently used toys, books, games, movies (dvds only) puzzles, bikes/ride-ons, craft items (excluding used crayons/ markers), Batteries (all sizes), wrapping paper, masking and/or packing tape, Transparent tape. (please no stuffed animals)
If possible please clean toys and mark them clean

Find gifts for your little treasures this Christmas. Select from FREE gently used stocking stuffers, games, books, and toys galore for children ages 0-10 years of age and limited items are available for middle school and high school age kids.
****Anyone that would like to receive treasures for their treasures must bring an original copy of that child/children birth certificates.****
